Dr. Carlotta Watson

Naturopathic Physician & Applied Kinesiologist

Dr. Watson graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts.  She went on to graduate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon and practices in the Pearl District.  Dr. Watson is a board certified primary care physician specializing in holistic medicine.  Additionally, she is board certified in Applied Kinesiology (AK) and utlilizes techniques such as Total Body Modification (TBM), Neuro-  Emotional Technique (NET), homeopathy, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, meridian therapy and  diversified style adjusting of the spine and extremities.

Growing up, Dr. Watson spent most of her childhood and adolescence as a ballet dancer.  But chronic  knee injuries stopped short her aspirations of professional dance.  In her mid 20s she found Applied  Kinesiology, and was surprised to learn that her knee problems were related to chronic digestive problems  and food allergies!  This put her on the path to a new career in natural health as a Naturopathic doctor and  Applied Kinesiologist.

Dr. Watson treats all types of conditions, but has a special interest in learning disabilites,  depression/anxiety, chronic fatigue, hormonal issues and sports injuries. As a Naturopathic doctor, her  license allows her to prescribe pharmaceuticals, as well as help patients wean themselves off of them. Dr.  Watson believes that there are no incurable diseases; when the right thing is done to the right body at the  right time, miracles can happen.

Hi, my name is Dr. Carlotta Watson. I’m a Naturopathic Physician in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been practicing for the last 10 years, and I’ve known Dr. Tim Francis for almost 18 years, and he has been a huge influence in my life. I was a patient of his, and he was the one who encouraged me to become a doctor and encouraged me to attend Naturopathic Medical School. He has changed my life. He has taken care of my whole family, my mom, my dad, and my brother, and I’ve sent close friends and family to him, and I have the utmost trust and respect in him as a clinician and as a wonderful person. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Francis, and I feel very blessed to have him in my life and for the influence he has had. Without him, I would not have the thriving, wonderful practice that I have right now, and I’m so happy to go to work every day. I feel extremely lucky to have met Dr. Francis. Interviewer: Did you attend any of his seminars? Did you train under Dr. Francis? Interviewee: I did train under him. He has been a mentor of mine since 2001. I’ve taken seminars from him so quite a long time. Interviewer: Wonderful, and where can we reach you? Do you have a website? What’s the name of your practice again? Interviewee: It’s just drcarlottawatson, dr., Watson, nd, .com. Interviewer: Wonderful. Thank you very much. Interviewee: Thank you.
